Introductions and tutorials for SPSS
Lists some useful sites for downloadable introductions, tutorials, help and blogs, some of which have video clips and (interactive) slideshows.
SPSS courses
I'm going to look at SPSS courses offered by universities and private companies or individuals for a fee, or free on-line. If I consider them relevant to survey research and also appropriate for users of this site, I'll add details to the page
SPSS listserver
As well the help menu inside SPSS, there's also a listerver to which users post questions and problems, to which answers and solutions are posted from experienced users. Most of these are about statistical modelling or complex syntax (eg for getting data from one format to another) but many are from beginners about ordinary everyday topics and SPSS commands. The list goes back to 1996 and there's a searchable archive of queries and answers.
