In December 2919, there was a catastrophic infection of dozens of computers in Lower Normandy by the Trojan Alureon (see article: Everything you need to know about Alureon or TDSS ). Most links to pages and files on this and other sites were broken.
Orange (France) immediately contacted all customers by phone and transferred them to a specialist programmer who then used Team Viewer to remove the infection from each computer affected: in my case this took well over an hour.
It then took me several weeks to complete a major restoration (page-by-page : link-by-link) of all hyperlinks and to verify that all *.html pages and *.pdf files open in a new window, but I may have missed a few.
Some links may still need users to left click on the link, right click on the full link in the Go to display, and select Open link in new window.
Please also note that because of the new European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) the raw data and SPSS files for the British Social Attitudes Survey 1986 and 1989 waves can no longer be downloaded from this site.
